Terrible app its the worst app ever
Terrible app its the worst app ever
As others have said, you get details on about 4 planes and then are told to upgrade--a real bait and switch.
The free version lets you find flight info for 3 flights. After that, you get to look at the map and watch. Flight info is encrypted. I dont mind a few "videos," but this one shows an ad WHENEVER you look up a flight (after the trial views). Too bad. Looked cool....
You can only look at the info for a few flights. You have to pay for the upgrade to see more.
Obligated to watch a 10 second video every time you try to see what plane is flying overhead. By the time the commercial has finished the plane is nowhere to be seen.
Fun and appears to be accurate
Clicking on a plane doesnt illustrate "The Red Line" nor does it give you the origin or destination of the flight. Pretty much as others have stated, it shows only the aircraft registration and an option "To Share". Reading through the options section, there is suppose to be two or three other tool settings that may correct this limited app., however when glancing at the download, the photo doesnt show those other tools. Is there a customer service to explain this abbreviated version of an app. that would otherwise be REALLY cool?
App shows n number and name but most of the names do not match FAA registrations, for example plane flying over Memphis showed to be Bangkok Airways but FAA showed the n number to be a Cessna 172!
No search function for flight numbers. Totally useless. Its an ad for the paid version.
It is fun to track all flights but missing search function for specifics! Not sure why push for buying the full version when you have google ads popping on your screen!!
I have my doubts that this is a live tracking app.
This app is great for seeing how this app works and seeing if youd want to upgrade to the paid version and after trying this app its totally worth it.
I live in the Idaho countryside and always wonder when I look up, "Where is that plane headed? Where did it come from? Spokane? Calgary? Seattle? Now I know. This app is as "real-time" as it gets; when it says a plane is over your house, its over your house. It is spot on. You can only see flight information as far as origination, destination, departure and arrival time, and type of aircraft if you buy the full version, but you can get the flight number and type it into your Safari browser. Sure its an extra step, but it takes an extra 10 seconds and its worth saving the few bucks in my cheap-minded brain.
This makes watching planes a whole new great experience!
The first plane was spot on. After that, the app showed planes overhead but none seen five minutes before or five minutes after the app said they should be there. Ive also had commercial planes fly overhead and the app showed no planes in the area. Only one plane was where it said it should be. Dozens were not there. Something must be wrong.
Fun to find the planes flying over us.
Love this app, enjoy watching and following certain planes, very cool.
This app is good but when I tap to find the plane number the ad clash of clan keeps showing up and its a annoying ad but the app is very good just remove the adds and make it as a new update then I will change this to five stars
I dont know. I cant seem to catch a plane over my house and if I catch one nearby it may say it from New Zealand or Canadian Air Force. I still look at it.
very good app , I need it!
