Very interesting and fun to follow.
Im an ATC and I found this app very accurate. Just wow!
Actually a very good app. As an avid plane watcher, it is very useful since I live between to airport flight paths and have been able to find a/c flying a overhead (including military flights) quite accurately! It could use a sub- app to decipher the airline codes shown when a flight is highlited, otherwise very good!
Its a amazing to see the power of this app.....such a great app for free ? Keep it up !! I love this app and it gets even better on a Big monitor.....simply interactive and yet powerful....
787!!!!
Very interesting. Google the flight number to see where it is from.
The best flight tracking app ever!
Enjoy using app very much.Easy to us and interesting finds.
I have a feeling that this is not real. The app just puts random planes all over the map and says they are "real"....
I can only see the flight number. There is no way to see more info. Will be also good to enter a flight number and display it with a flag.
Great app. Would be nice to have option to view the aircrafts seating.
Just a cool app if you like planes and ever wonder where the planes above you have left from and where they are headed. Lots of info on type of plane, speed and altitude.
Works as I expected. I enjoy now looking up and knowing where the plane overhead is going and what company owns it. Nice time waster for me.
Nice try!!
To be clear, the app works well, you can certainly point to flights in the sky using the AR feature or use the map and select any flight to get more info. And it is usually accurate. But here is something you MUST understand. The App is NOT receiving radar data, it has no real time information as to the exact location of the plane. It uses the current flight plan information and ETMS or available position informaiton to periodically update the flight data, usually ponce per minute. So this means that for poverflights, high altitude flights enroute, it is usually very accurate. But flor flights that are arriving and being vectored around for sequencing by ATC, the flights you point at are not where the App thinksthey are....but if you are mostly interested in overflights, this works very well indeed. Btw, I arrived at this only because I have worked in ATC and ATC radar and automated systems for almost 40 years, I struggled at first to figure out how they could do what the App said it could do....Once I used it around Vancouver, it became clear...... There is NO way that an online App has access to the updated radar track information directly to know where a flight is every few seconds....the only information available to the App is this periodically updated flight profile, probably exactly the same source as is used by Flightaware, Flight Tracker App, etc. I am not underminding the App, only making sure people know what they are buying and to explain why it is when they point to an aircraft downwind at a major airport overflying your house, that it wont be the one the App says it is, if there is even a flight in the same position. Enjoy!
Every few clicks an ad jumps at your face. Delete.
Well congratulations to the app creators. This latest version adds FULL PAGE VIDEO ADVERTISING after every few taps in this app. Its obscene and now completely worthless for its primary function...and now deleted after a year of use. Good work morons!!
The accuracy in showing where planes are isnt great. However you can generally figure out whats flying over your house based on direction of flt vs app even though app is off by 50-70 kms. For free it gets a passing grade but not good enough to spend $ on upgrade.
So interesting and whomever Ive recommended it to is super happy with it!
