Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker App Reviews

I enjoy the free app, but it is now loaded with ads. Every fifth time that I select a flight tag, up pops another ad!

Works like it says. Planning to purchase the pro version.

This is the free version but I like the full version even more. I have the full version on my iPad as well. I travel domestically and internationally so this allows me to know about my inbound or connecting aircraft. Full version gives more info.

Displays a (inaccurate) map with airplane, but wont tell you any additional info without purchasing. I can hear planes taking off now but it only displays one flight. After monkeying around with it for a minute it is completely useless. Didnt even hold my attention. Deleted.

I know they are there, but dont show up on app. Alaska Air is our local carrier.

Free version mostly presents ads over and over. You never have much time between ads to even evaluate the app which doesnt seem to offer any worthwhile features in the free version. Especially obnoxious are Google app ads which cannot be canceled until they time out. Google needs to advertise??

This free app works as long as what you want is just to see the planes in the sky there is an image on the description of the app shows that you can point the device in the air an see airplanes that your device is pointed at well that is false,though you re able to do that with the full paid version of plane finder unless you have an iPod touch the AR dose not work at all

Its a free app and does what it would be expected as such. Get it. Its worth it.

If youve ever watched the the glowing jet contrails at sunset and wondered where those planes are going, you will love this app. Delivers exactly what it promises.

I gave this app 5 stars because it works flawlessly in realtime. My husband and I like to sit out with our phones and track flights going over our home. However, it lacks full information regarding where its from and destination. If you touch the plane, a tag displays departure and destination acronyms. I look them up on Internet. Good app, fun and price is right.

I love using this great app, but the problem is that I get way too many pop-up ads! Most annoying is that "Game of War" app plus those quick fantasy football services, too! Some of these I dont want to see in a work environment! For those of you that have the paid version, is it TOTALLY AD-FREE? Im considering buying the full version. Thanks!

Deleted. I understand that free is free, but the intrusiveness of these ads really weaken my enjoyment of your app. FlightAware is a much more useful tool simply because it doesnt bombard the UI with constant advertisements.

This was a good app at first until it stopped tracking a certain local flight. Ads become intrusive after using the app for awhile.
